Natural Burial Shrouds

These beautiful ash print shrouds are made with sustainable and biodegradable fabrics such as linen and hemp.

Artist Lena Sass from Shrouds and Ashes uses cyanotype process to make bespoke images using sunlight, a natural photographic process. The shrouds are made from cremation ash through a method of separating the particles, creating a pattern unique to that person.
