Eden Valley Woodland Burial Ground

An award-winning beautiful, green, natural burial ground located on the Kent/Surrey border close to London. We fully embraces the principles of ‘natural burial’, providing a beautiful place for people to be buried and a place for nature and wildlife to thrive.

Set over 26 acres the site comprises of grassland, meadows, ponds and 8 acres of ancient woodland. These varied natural habitats are home to a wide variety of animals, birds, butterflies and insects, all of which live on or among the many wild species of trees, plants and flowers that have made Eden Valley their home.

Our aim is to reforest 14 acres of grassland back to the original deciduous woodland that it would have been hundreds of years ago. By planting native trees on burial plots, we will reforest the land and in a very small way help to tackle climate change.
