About the Author Lorna Gibson is a self-taught author, illustrator and animator and founder of Toots Design. She has published a number of beautiful children’s books, including some like this that tackle more challenging subjects such as grief and anxiety. Lorna says ‘For a while I was unsure how to marry up these two sides of my work, considering them to offer either comfort or magic. Until I realised that magic is comfort and comfort is magic. Seeing it this way made so much more sense of what I love to do through my stories, illustrations and animations’.
