What Seems to be the Problem?
Dr Laura Marshall-Andrews

‘What Seems to be the Problem?’, written by award-winning GP Dr Laura Marshall-Andrews, charts her journey to creating a more holistic, person-centred and tailored approach to care.
Over the course of more than a decade working in the NHS, Dr Marshall-Andrews saw that one-size-fits-all treatments did not always benefit her patients. As a GP, she used her experience to pioneer a way of caring that prioritised the lived experiences of the people in her care and offered a range of treatments based on this, with really positive results.
Stories about her medical training remind us about the person behind the ‘white coat’, and we meet some of the patients who have shaped Dr Marshall-Andrews’ new approach to medicine and care.
